Kaipo Gallegos and Nat ‘No Love’ Dove will round out the main card of the next show offered by Most Valuable Promotions (MVP).

The pair of unbeaten prospects will appear in separate bouts on ‘Most Valuable Prospect 12’, which is set for May 9 on DAZN from Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Gallegos, 8-0-1 (6 KOs), a reigning WBO Youth titlist and 18-time national champion from Las Vegas, will face Mexico’s Pedro Castaneda, 8-0-1 (5 KOs) in a scheduled eight-round junior lightweight contest. Their bout will follow the show’s opener, featuring Philadelphia’s Love in a six-round bantamweight contest versus Nayeli Rodriguez, 3-0 (0 KOs) of El Paso, Texas.

Dove-Rodriguez will be contest over six three-minute rounds in lieu of the traditional two-minute limit afforded women’s boxing. The extended distance has become an MVP standard dating back to legendary seven-division champ Amanda Serrano in her October 2023 win over Danila Ramos to defend her featherweight championship.   

Dove is one of two new MVP signees to appear on the card; rising bantamweight Alexander Gueche, 7-0 (5 KOs) of Long Beach, California, will face an opponent to be determined on the preliminary undercard.”

“We are proud to officially welcome Nat Dove and Alexander Gueche to the MVP family,” MVP co-founders Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian said in a joint statement. “Nat’s decision to fight three-minute rounds is a powerful statement, and she now joins fellow MVP fighters Amanda Serrano, Tamm Thibeault, and Krystal Rosado in choosing to compete under equal rules to men. 

“Alongside her, Alexander is exactly the kind of promising talent with explosive knockout power that this series was created to elevate.”

The show’s previously announced headliner pits rising heavyweight and series favorite Dainier Pero, 10-0 (8 KOs)—a Cuban export based in Miami—and 25-year-old Mexican heavyweight Cesar Navarro, 13-2 (11 KOs), in a ten-round affair. Another undefeated series regular claims the co-feature spot, as locally based Corey Marksman, 10-0-1 (7 KOs) collides with California native Tayden Beltran, 10-0-1 (5 KOs) in a scheduled eight-round lightweight contest. 

Gallegos appears at Caribe Royale for the fourth time. He impressed in a fourth-round knockout of Armando Frausto on Most Valuable Prospects 7 last July 26 at this very venue.

It was followed up by a knockout win last November and a dominant six-round decision over Leonardo Padilla on the February 1 David Benavidez-David Morrell undercard at T-Mobile Arena in his Las Vegas hometown.

Gallegos is co-promoted by Shuan Boxing and series hosting outfit Boxlab Promotions.

Also on the preliminary undercard:

-       Tampa’s Ariel Perez, 6-0 (4 KOs) and Mexico’s Mario Bedolla, 4-3 (3 KOs) meet in a six-round light heavyweight contest.

-       Elise Soto, 7-0 (7 KOs), a knockout artist from Serrano’s hometown of Carolina, Puerto Rico, takes on Pittsbugh’s Colleen Davis, 4-2-2 (1 KOs) in a six-round, junior featherweight bout.

-       Jeremy Adorno, 9-1 (5 KOs), a Kissimmee-based Boricua featherweight, faces Argentina’s Jonathan Pachado, 6-1 (2 KOs) in a six-round affair

-       21-year-old D.C. welterweight Quincey Williams, 4-0 (4 KOs) appears, along with the pro debut of lightweight David Ramirez Lima
