Lance Pugmire

ance Pugmire is BoxingScene’s senior U.S. writer and an assistant producer for ProBox TV. Pugmire has covered boxing since the early 2000s, first at the Los Angeles Times and then at The Athletic and USA Today. He won the Boxing Writers’ Association of America’s Nat Fleischer Award in 2022 for career excellence.

Jake Donovan

Jake Donovan is an award-winning journalist who served as a senior writer for BoxingScene from 2007-2024, and news editor for the final nine years of his first tour. He was also the lead writer for The Ring before his decision to return home. Follow Jake on  X  and  Instagram. .

Eric Raskin

Eric Raskin is a veteran boxing journalist with more than 25 years of experience covering the sport for such outlets as BoxingScene, ESPN, Grantland, Playboy, Ringside Seat, and The Ring (where he served as managing editor for seven years). He also co-hosted The HBO Boxing Podcast, Showtime Boxing with Raskin & Mulvaney, The Interim Champion Boxing Podcast with Raskin & Mulvaney, and Ring Theory. He has won three first-place writing awards from the BWAA, for his work with The Ring, Grantland, and HBO. Kieran Mulvaney

Kieran Mulvaney has written, broadcast and podcasted about boxing for HBO, Showtime, ESPN and Reuters, among other outlets. He presently co-hosts the Fighter Health Podcast with Dr. Margaret Goodman. He also writes regularly for National Geographic, has written several books on the Arctic and Antarctic, and is at his happiest hanging out with wild polar bears. Jason Langendorf

Jason Langendorf is the former Boxing Editor of ESPN.com, was a contributor to Ringside Seat and the Queensberry Rules, and has written about boxing for Vice, The Guardian, Chicago Sun-Times and other publications. Ryan Songalia

Ryan Songalia is a reporter and editor for BoxingScene.com and has written for ESPN, the New York Daily News, Rappler, The Guardian, Vice and The Ring magazine. He is a native of New Jersey and has covered boxing events in North America, Asia, Europe and Australia. He holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism and is a member of the Boxing Writers Association of America. David Greisman

David Greisman has covered boxing for two decades, joining BoxingScene in 2004 and launching his "Fighting Words" column soon thereafter. In the years since, he has been recognized 21 times by the Boxing Writers Association of America's annual writing awards. David’s work has also been published in The Ring Magazine, on several websites, and in his book, “Fighting Words: The Heart and Heartbreak of Boxing,” which is available on Amazon. He is also the co-host of the United Boxing Podcast covering boxing in the United Kingdom and United States. Lucas Ketelle

Lucas Ketelle took an unconventional path to boxing, eventually finding his stride in gyms and media. For the past decade, he has hosted the Lukie Boxing podcast, filmed training camps for fighters like Arnold Barboza Jnr, Mikey Garcia, and Caleb Plant, and worked with top professionals like Mike Bazzel. Ketelle is also an author of Inside the Ropes of Boxing, a guide for young fighters, a writer for ProBox TV, BoxingScene, and a member of the Boxing Writers Association of America. Tris Dixon

Tris Dixon covered his first amateur boxing fight in 1996. The former editor of Boxing News, he has written for a number of international publications and newspapers, including GQ and Men’s Health, and is a Board member for the Ringside Charitable Trust and the Ring of Brotherhood. He has been a broadcaster for TNT Sports and hosts the popular Boxing Life Stories podcast. Dixon is a British Boxing Hall of Famer, an International Boxing Hall of Fame elector, is on The Ring ratings panel and the author of five boxing books, including Damage: The Untold Story of Brain Trauma in Boxing (shortlisted for the William Hill Sportsbook of the Year), Warrior: A Champion’s Search For His Identity (shortlisted for the Sunday Times International Sportsbook of the Year) and The Road to Nowhere: A Journey Through Boxing’s Wastelands. Matt Christie

Matt Christie, a lifelong fight fan, has worked in boxing for more than 20 years. He left Boxing News in 2024 after 14 years, nine of which were spent as Editor-in-Chief. Before that, he was the producer of weekly boxing show, KOTV. Now the co-host of The Opening Bell podcast and regularly used by Sky Sports in the UK as a pundit, Matt was named as the Specialist Correspondent of the Year at the prestigious Sports Journalism Awards in 2021, which was the seventh SJA Award he accepted during his stint in the hot seat at Boxing News. The following year he was inducted into the British Boxing Hall of Fame, he’s a member of the BWAA and has been honored several times in their annual writing awards.

Elliot Worsell

Elliot Worsell is a boxing writer whose byline first appeared in Boxing News magazine at the age of 17. He has, in the 20 years since, written for various publications, worked as press officer for two world heavyweight champions, and won four first-place BWAA (Boxing Writers Association of America) awards. In addition to his boxing writing, Worsell has written about mixed martial arts for Fighters Only magazine and UFC.com, as well as worked as a publicist for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He has also written two non-fiction books, one of which, Dog Rounds, was shortlisted at the British Sports Book Awards in 2018.

Declan Warrington

Declan Warrington has been writing about boxing for the British and Irish national newspapers since 2010. He is also a long-term contributor to Boxing News, Boxing News Presents and Talksport, and formerly the boxing correspondent for the Press Association, a pundit for BoxNation, and, among other publications, regular contributor to Boxing Monthly, Sport, and The Ring. In 2023 he conducted the interviews towards and wrote the script for the audio documentary Froch-Groves: The Definitive Story; he is also a member of the BWAA.

Tom Ivers

Tom Ivers is an amateur boxer who has a masters degree in sports journalism. He had his first bout in 2013, joined BoxingScene in 2024 and is now a key part of the UK and social media teams.
