About as much separated Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora on the scale Friday afternoon as on the scorecards after their fantastic fight two years ago.

The 6-feet-4 Whyte weighed in at 246½ pounds for their 12-round rematch Saturday night in London. The 6-feet-1 Chisora stepped on the British Boxing Board of Control’s scale at 246¼ pounds.

Whyte, 30, and Chisora, 34, will square off again in the main event of a seven-bout card at O2 Arena. Promoter Eddie Hearn announced earlier Friday that the Whyte-Chisora card is now sold out, as roughly 19,000 tickets have been sold to the event.

Chisora weighed in Friday four pounds lighter than for their first fight (250¼ pounds). Whyte weighed slightly more for their rematch than he did for their initial battle (246¼ pounds).

The hope among boxing fans is that Whyte and Chisora can at least come close to replicating the “Fight of the Year” candidate these heavyweights produced in December 2016. Whyte (24-1, 17 KOs) edged Chisora (29-8, 21 KOs) by split decision in their 12-round slugfest at Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.

The Jamaican-born Whyte is 4-0 since he beat Chisora, including a sixth-round knockout of Australia’s Lucas Browne (27-1, 24 KOs) and a 12-round, unanimous-decision win against New Zealand’s Joseph Parker (25-2, 19 KOs) earlier this year.

Chisora, a native of Zimbabwe, is 3-1 since his loss to Whyte. He stopped Cameroon’s Carlos Takam (35-5-1, 27 KOs) in the eighth round of his last fight, July 28 at O2 Arena, on the Whyte-Parker undercard.

Showtime will air the Whyte-Chisora rematch live in the United States (5:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. PT). Their second bout will headline a Sky Sports Box Office pay-per-view card in the United Kingdom (€19.95; 6 p.m. GMT).
