WWE Universal champion Braun Strowman has issued a warning to Tyson Fury - advising him that he might get seriously hurt in a match with Drew McIntyre, who earlier this month captured the WWE world title at Wrestlemania 36.
McIntyre, 34, from Scotland, called for a match with Fury in the aftermath of his big win over Brock Lesnar.
Fury, 31, responded on Instagram: "Drew McIntyre has called me out after his WWE Wrestlemania 36 victory. First I say congratulations and what a fantastic job. Secondly I accept his challenge, anytime, any place, anywhere."
Fury achieved his childhood dream when he made his WWE debut back in October in Saudi Arabia.
The WBC heavyweight champion defeated Braun Strowman by countout at the WWE's Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia.
Fury has since appeared in featured angles on WWE's televised programming.
He wants to continue what he started in the world of professional wrestling - and already has the green light to do so from promoter Frank Warren.
In a recent interview, Strowman did his part in building up more hype for a potential Fury vs. McIntyre showdown.
"Well Tyson better learn how to do more than punch, I can tell you that. He got lucky with the one he caught me with when I was standing outside the ropes," Strowman told WWE UK.
"Drew McIntyre, like myself, is a completely different trained animal than Tyson Fury has ever stepped in the ring with… he might be in for a world of awakening. "I've been hit with the Claymore kick [McIntyre's finisher] probably more than anybody and I know what it's capable of, so, the best of luck if he wants to get in there and get his head kicked off. Go ahead and give it a try and see what happens."
