Memphis, TN – Prize Fight Boxing returns to the Fitz Casino & Hotel in Tunica, MS on August 26th as they present “The Rematch”, a world class night of boxing headlined by the rematch of Miriam Brakache and Angelica Martinez in a 6-Round female welterweight battle. Previously, on July 8th at The Fitz Brakache and Martinez squared off in what was one of the most exciting bouts ever witnessed at the Fitz. The match was back and forth all night and the crowd was on their feet as the two women exchanged blow after blow for all six rounds of the action packed fight.

The bout went to the scorecards where Martinez was awarded a majority decision in the closely contested match. Team Brakache was very unhappy about the decision and felt that they easily won the bout. Miriam has been quoted by www.womenboxing.com as saying, “I did not even get a second wind fighting Angelica. One of the judges must have been watching a different fight. We all know when you leave it to the judges you’re giving it away.” Consequently, Team Brakache has been asking for a rematch. Conversely, the normally mild mannered Angelica Martinez is very unhappy about the comments of Brakache and had this to say about her opponent, “You say you want a piece of me? Once again....be careful what you ask for----because next time you won't get a piece. You're going get THE WHOLE THING. Until then, just know that you're fighting with the big girls now sweetheart. So the "losing?" GET USED TO IT!........(I'll be waiting....).”

The fireworks do not end with the sensational female match up. Also, August 26th will also feature the return of Adam “The Swamp Donkey” Richards to The Fitz. Richards, always a Fitz fan favorite, will battle Tipton Walker in a six round heavyweight affair that is sure to feature a lot of leather being swapped between the two. Currently, Richards is 14-1 (11 KO’s) while being undefeated in his six previous bouts at the Fitz and looks to keep that streak alive against the upset minded Walker who hails from Detroit, MI. Also featured on the card will be undefeated bantamweight prospect Rayonta Whitfield 15-0 (8 KO’s) as he will duel Alejandro Moreno in an eight round bout. Whitfield is quickly ascending the world rankings and is looking to fight for a title in the very near future.

Hard hitting DeAndrey Abron will also make his return to the Fitz in a six round light heavyweight match. Abron 9-1 (6 KO’s) is an intriguing prospect who successfully juggles a career in boxing and as a 15 year veteran of the United States Army. The unbelievable night of boxing will be rounded out with exciting bouts featuring Antonio Davis and many of the brightest young stars in boxing today.
