Sa’Rai Brown-El, a USA Boxing Silver Gloves champion and Junior Olympics gold medalist, has signed a professional management agreement with Split-T Management.

Brown-El, a 19-time national champion, will compete at junior flyweight and flyweight in the pros. The first fight date for the 19-year-old has yet to be announced. Managers Dave McWater (also the founder of Split-T Boxing) and Brian Cohen will guide Brown-El’s career.

“I am really excited,” Brown-El said. “Split-T is a great management company. I cannot wait to start working with them. Dave has known about me since I was 13 years old. It’s really good to see that they are pushing females to get world title fights, and I am honored to be part of the team.”

For years already, Brown-El has trained alongside fellow Split-T fighters Nathan and Elijah Lugo at Lugo Boxing & Fitness in Marietta, Georgia, so the management group believes they know exactly what to expect from her.

“Sa’Rai Brown-El is the total package – skill, intelligence and the kind of drive you don’t see every day,” McWater said. “Women’s boxing is experiencing an incredible boom, and I have no doubt Sa’Rai is going to be a major force in the sport.”

Cohen, for his part, calls Brown-El “a future world champion.”

“Her natural ability and boxing IQ are elite, and with the right guidance, her potential is limitless.”
