RAY Austin scored a knockdown in the first five seconds of the fight and punished Andrew Golota for the entire round until he took a TKO win in the main event of a card at the Sichuan Gymnasium in Chengduthat, China - part of the WBC's annual convention.

While on his stool, Golota complained his left arm was injured during the round and that’s the reason why he was unable to answer the bell.

Chinese doctor initially diagnosed Golota’s elbow was dislocated. Golota was in the running to fight WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev on December 20. Valuev will now likely fight Evander Holyfield.
