Keith Thurman weighed in at a career-heaviest for Wednesday’s comeback bout against Brock Jarvis in Sydney, Australia’s Hordern Pavilion.
The 30-1 (22 KOs) Thurman, a 36-year-old former welterweight titlist from Clearwater, Florida, hit the scales at 153 3/4lbs which is eight more than he weighed while outpointing Mario Barrios in his most recent outing three years ago. Jarvis, nine years Thurman’s junior and 22-1 (20 KOs), weighed the same.
