Junior welterweight contender Lucas Matthysse (34-2, 32KOs) is confident that eventually he will catch up with WBA/WBC champion Danny Garcia (26-0, 16KOs) and knock him out on September 14th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The match is going to happen on the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Saul "Canelo" Alvarez undercard. Matthysse has seen several of Garcia's fights and he likes what he sees.

"Garcia comes forward a lot and he stands there, leaving himself open, when he throws his punches, and in the fight against [Zab] Judah he was slow. That suits me. When the fight gets closer, we have to put together a game plan, watch videos and know more, Matthysse told Marcelo Nogueira. "He has heavy hands, and I have them myself. I know I'm going to have to watch out for his left cross. I'm going to train hard and [I'll be ready to] throw pineapples for twelve rounds - but I'm positive that I'm going to knock him out."
