Lightweight Mathias Radcliffe headlines a card Saturday at Fox Theater in Pomona, California.
The eight-round bout is promoted by upstart promoter DMG Boxing, who have also signed Radcliffe to a promotional pact.
Radcliffe, 9-0-1 (7 KOs), is a five-year professional who turned pro in February 2020, one month before the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the world. Radcliffe, a 26-year-old from Reseda, California, enters on a four-fight knockout streak and fought three times last year. He faces veteran Ezequiel Flores, 6-4 (3 KOs). Flores, a 29-year-old from Riverside, California, is best known for a competitive loss to Amado Vargas and getting stopped by Curmel Moton. In December, Flores defeated the previously unbeaten Rene Moreno.
The card's co-feature will be a battle of nearby regional rivals. Michael Bracamontes, of Santa Ana, California, will face Jesus Beltran of San Bernadino, California in an eight-round junior lightweight bout. Bracamontes, 11-2-1 (6 KOs), is a 19-year-old who turned professional in Mexico in 2022. He has fought in California since 2023 and enters on a two-fight win streak after a loss to decorated amateur Javier Zamarron. Beltran, 8-4-1 (3 KOs), defeated former Golden Boy Promotions prospect Tenochtitlan Nava via split decision in September. Beltran is only four years older than Bracamontes. He is 23.
Fourteen-time national champion "Terrible" Terry Washington, a junior flyweight, will also be featured on the card.
