In recent months, UFC featherweight world champion Conor McGregor has been talking about the possibility of a fantasy fight with retired five division world boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The discussions of a potential fight first began when Mayweather himself challenged McGregor to a fall fight. Mayweather made it clear that a fight with McGregor would have to take place under traditional boxing rules.

Forget Mayweather Jr, because his father and head trainer, Floyd Mayweather Sr., is confident that he's capable of beating McGregor in a fight.

Besides McGregor, Mayweather Sr. feels he would batter Nate Diaz, who made McGregor tap in their March bout. McGregor got revenge with a majority decision win over Diaz in their Saturday rematch from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

"Look, I'd whoop Conor McGregor's ass, and I'd whoop the boy who whooped Conor's ass (Nate Diaz)! If they do everything with their hands…with no kicking, and no elbowing…I would beat both they asses," Mayweather Sr. told the Mayweather Boxing Channel.

"They ain't gonna swipe me! What I'm trying to tell you is that if there isn't any foot-swiping, no elbowing, or no chin-ups…I'm letting you know, if we ain't doing any of that, you already know who's gonna win! Look…I am the best! I must confess. For all the rest, there's no contest! I will shock your mind…I'm one of a kind…I'm one of the greatest fighters of all time!"
