UK lightweight star Amir Khan wants to get revenge and redeem his career by fighting Colombian puncher Breidis Prescott. Last September, Presctott handed Khan the first loss of his career with a brutal knockout in less than a minute. Khan is now being trained by Freddie Roach and says the new things that he's learned will help him overcome Prescott in a rematch. Khan is coming back from the biggest win of his career, a five round technical decision over Marco Antonio Barrera.
“I won’t make the same mistake again,” Khan said to Bolton News. “I want to fight him again and it is a serious possibility. I have spoken to my promoter Frank Warren about it. I am dedicated and want to be a world champion."
Khan will be sparring with Roach's other pupil, pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao, helping the Filipino champion prepare for the May 2 bout with Ricky Hatton.
