IBF light heavyweight champ Clinton Woods has always despised Antonio Tarver, but now he really has a reason to hate him. When the two met face-to-face at a recent press conference to announce their April 12 showdown in Florida, Tarver threw a mountain of insults in the direction of Woods, who took some of the comments very personally. Tarver told Woods that he wasn't worthy of carrying his bags and called him a hand-picked opponent.

"Everything I've ever said I've backed it up. You're gonna be knocked out on April 12. You've gotta learn how to respect me. You've never seen anybody like me in your whole career. You're a hand-picked opponent. You've never faced anybody like me. Look how pretty I am - no scar tissue, no marks, nothing," Tarver said. "You're not fit to carry my bag. You're history on April 12."

According to a report by Sportinglife , Woods answered back in kind.

"I've always wanted him since I become world champion, I've always hated him and I can't stand the guy even more now," said Woods. "You are in a tough fight, you'll have bad dreams about this fight."

The two fighters had to be separated during their London press conference. The winner will be in line to fight the winner of the co-feature scrap between WBC light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson and challenger Glen Johnson.
