MGM Grand, Las Vegas - James Prince, manager for unbeaten challenger Andre Ward (30-0, 15KOs), lit a fire in the pre-fight promotion for the upcoming showdown with WBO/IBF/WBA light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (30-0, 26KOs).

Their fight is taking place on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena, with HBO Pay-Per-View distributing the event.

At Thursday's final press conference, Prince had his turn on the podium and opened up the old-age battle of the Cold War between Russia and the United States.

Prince is predicting a lopsided beating when Ward gets his hands on Kovalev.

“I’m going to deal with the elephant in the room... this is Russia versus the United States of America. And in my opinion the best of Russia can’t beat the best of the United States of America in nothing. That's what's happening. We have a Russian fighter over here. We respect your fighting game.. You're a great fighter and you reminds me of Goliath. And here we have my  man Andre Ward, who is David. I don't think you understand the story of Goliath and David. Come Saturday night, you will see the modern day David - which is Andre Ward - defeat Goliath," Prince said.

"He's gonna fight the S.O.G. - that's the Son of God - that's Andre Ward. We don't have a sword, where we can cut his head off and raise it up like David did and how Andre Ward will raise those belts up come Saturday night, but we plan to beat his head up so bad until you need all sorts of instruments to fix it."
