Undefeated middleweight king Kelly “The Ghost” Pavlik (32-0, 29KO) and former champ Jermain “Bad Intentions” Taylor (27-1-1, 17KO) both made the contracted weight for their PPV rematch Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, NV. Both fighters weighed in at 164, 2 lb under the contracted limit was 166. Pavlik’s middleweight crown is not at stake.

Both fighters addressed the crowd after the obligatory stare-down. Pavlik saluted all of the fans from Youngstown, Ohio who made the trek to Las Vegas. "Youngstown, OH baby. Everyone knows you fans are the best!"

Taylor played to the crowd before insisting, "This time, if I put him down, he staying down!"

The pay-per-view portion of the card begins at 9PM ET/6PM PT, and will be distributed by HBOPPV. Three bouts precede the Pavlik-Taylor rematch, with the show presented by Top Rank, Inc. and DiBella Entertainment.
