Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez will not allow DAZN delay any of his future fights.
The boxer signed an eleven fight deal with the streaming service last year. So far he's had three bouts carried by their company.
He is expected to come back to the ring in May, during Cinco De Mayo weekend.
Earlier this month, Canelo moved up by two weight divisions to score an eleventh round knockout over Sergey Kovalev to capture the WBO light heavyweight title.
But there were some issues with the event that angered a lot of fans. DAZN made a controversial decision to delay the start of Canelo-Kovalev - until after the conclusion of the UFC's pay-per-view main event which featured Nate Diaz vs Jorge Masvidal.
The decision by DAZN created a delay of more than an hour between the main event and co-feature.
While the delay was playing out, Canelo and Kovalev were fully gloved up and just hanging around their respective locker rooms while waiting for word to begin their ring walks.
Canelo will not allow DAZN to do that, at least with his fights, in the future.
"I will not allow them to do that, at least for my fights. I will talk to them [DAZN], " Canelo told ESPN Deportes.
As far as his options for May, Canelo still has no interest in a trilogy fight with Gennady Golovkin, who holds the IBF's middleweight title.
They fought to a controversial twelve round split draw in 2017, and then Canelo won a twelve round majority draw in their rematch a year later.
"I don't want to fight him [GGG]. For me he doesn't represent [a challenge] anymore," said Canelo. " I have other goals too, I already gave him 24 rounds and that's it. "
