Nathan Farrell booked his place on a big show in his home city later this year after securing the second victory of his paid campaign.

The -year-old began his professional career back in August when he was the better man across four against Dylan Draper at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool.
Farrell got a 40-36 decision against Draper that night on the Sky Sports- and DAZN-aired Matchroom card and got a win by the same margin on Sunday afternoon at the Woodhouse Park Lifestyle Centre in Wythenshawe, Greater Manchester.

Ivan Godor, a 39-year-old Slovakian who had been out since May, was the victim this time around by 40 points to 36 on referee Jamie Kirkpatrick’s scorecard
And now Farrell, the younger brother of former fighter turned manager and promoter Kieran Farrell –– who worked in association with Joe Gallagher for M22 Promotions to put this show together –– will be back on November 2 at Manchester Arena.

He will box on the Eddie Hearn- and Matchroom Boxing-promoted card at the venue which will also see the final fight in the glittering career of former WBA world lightweight king Anthony ‘Million Dollar’ Crolla and undisputed female lightweight world champion Katie Taylor as she steps up to super-lightweight to challenge WBO queen Christina Linardatou. Joshua Buatsi meets former WBO light-heavyweight title challenger Blake Caparello in an official eliminator for the WBA crown and there is action for Gamal Yafai and Qais Ashfaq.

Meanwhile, WBC International Silver middleweight champion Marcus Morrison continued his fine run of form with a first-round stoppage of Edwin Palacios.
The end came after just one minute and 57 seconds as ‘Sweet MNM’ –– managed by Joe Gallagher and trained by Pat Barrett –– unleashed a vicious left hook to the body against his vastly overmatched opponent.

His win was followed up by another stoppage for Sam Hyde. The cruiserweight ended the challenge of Jiri Svacina inside four of six scheduled rounds and a halt was called to the contest by referee Steve Gray after two minutes and five seconds of the fourth after two knockdowns.

Paul Butler is targeting the European title at bantamweight after a routine 60-54 win over Joseafat Reyes, while Wycombe King impressed on his debut, Connor Lynch warmed up for his fight in Bolton next month with a win on points against the ambitious Daryl Pearce and George Brennan got the better of Ricky Leach by 40 points to 37.
