It appears that troubled featherweight Scott Harrison may have some company in the big house. Harrison's manager, Barry Hughes, 28, was arrested for "allegedly possessing an offensive weapon." (insert your own joke)
Hughes is being held in police custody after a disturbance in Glasgow city centre in the early hours of Saturday. He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
The Sunday Mail reports that the incident happened after Hughes tried to speak to his wife at a city centre bar. Soon after a fight broke out which led to the bar bouncers and police getting involved.
For years, Hughes has managed former WBO featherweight champion Harrison, who himself is involved in several court battles for a variety of offenses.
