  • Charles Bennett loses 16th straight fight in 4th different combat sport

Last night Charles "Felony" Bennett tapped out to a rear naked choke against Jason Knight in the main event of Jorge Masvidal's new bare knuckle MMA promotion, Gamebred FC.

Bennett has now lost 16 straight fights, including:
    0-11 in gloved MMA
    0-3 in bare knuckle boxing
0-1 in shootboxing (it's like MMA but without groundfighting; most strikes and standing submissions are legal)
    0-1 in bare knuckle MMA

Of those 16 fights, only 4 made it to the cards. The other 12 were knockouts and tapouts. He last won a fight in 2016 in MMA.

Maybe he could lose in standard boxing or kickboxing next?

Lots of wasted potential with this guy. Put [insert literally anyone with common sense]'s brain in his body and he would have been a great fighter.
Butt stuff Butt stuff likes this.

call him crazy horse and people might know who you are talking about.

your title makes it seem like he's never won any fights or had success. he had a solid mma career to start and won 9 out of 10 fights at one point. his losses were mostly to notable fighters. right now he's 41 years old and on the tail end of a 70 fight career. of course he's going to suck.

That's gotta be a record because of all the different sports this guy has competed in.

Yeah I think it is... I was pretty sure Bob Sapp had the record but he was only on a 14 fight losing streak... but Bob still has the longest losing streak, lasting for 8 years...

According to this a pro boxer lost 86 straight fights one time:

Charles better get crackin' if he wants to break that record.

That's just 1 sport though. I said the record for a losing streak for the most different combat sports. 86 boxing matches in a row is pretty impressive for a boxer though.

                  Update: Bennett loses again

He was knocked out in the first round on October 1 at Gamebred MMA 2, which was a bare knuckle MMA fight. That makes 17 consecutive losses between 4 different combat sports, although the bare knuckle MMA fights seem to just count on his normal MMA record.

But in his last 17 he's now:
                  0-11 in gloved MMA
                  0-3 in bare knuckle boxing
                  0-2 in bare knuckle MMA
                  0-1 in shootboxing

And he has only reached the final bell 3 times out of those 17 losses. All the rest were KOs or submissions.

Does he not have anyone in his life that cares about him? When is enough enough? He hasn't won a fight in over five years and he's not fighting high level competition at all.
