Epping Wakes Arms roundabout murder: Man stabbed to death named locally as rapper Morrisson's brother



A man who was stabbed to death in Epping has been named locally as Steve Morrison - brother of famous rapper Morrisson.

Emergency services rushed to the Wakes Arms roundabout on Epping Road shortly before 8pm last night (June 23).

According to witnesses at the nearby Shell petrol station, the victim was attacked on the roundabout before walking to the garage forecourt where he was later attended to by paramedic.

He was rushed to hospital, where he sadly died from his injuries.

In an emotional tribute to his twin brother on Instagram, rapper Morrison said: "Rest in peace my brother, my friend, my twin, Stevo - I’m gonna miss you bro.

"No words can explain this pain. I’m thankful for everything you done for me and our family.

"We ain’t no angels but you didn’t deserve to go out like that and I'm thankful I got to bump into you on Father’s Day and cuddle you and tell you I love you and say goodbye."

The area has remained cordoned off by police throughout the day while an investigation into the murder continues.

In their latest update, an Es*** Police spokesperson said: "The Wakes Arms roundabout remains closed as enquiries continue into the death of a man found there last night.

"Epping New Rd's closed in both directions & Woodridden Hill is closed at the junction w/High Beech.

"The closures will be in place through rush hour & into this evening."
