I think the best way to keep Russia from ever using nukes in this war is arming Ukraine with tactical nukes, or atleast turning a blind eye so they can create them again on their own. Ukraine isn’t going to nuke their own land, but if Russia fires a tactical nuke then Ukraine is free to fire upon anywhere in Russia. That right there is a powerful deterrent.

No way american pilots will fly in Ukraine.

You have no idea of the geopolitics in this. America gives a lot of fkkkks about Ukraine, bcs if Russia wins the baltic countries is likely next on Putin's to-do list. They are Nato, so that would mean war. So it's much, much better to deal with Russia now when you have an extremely motivated country fighting for it's life against russian imperialism that wont stop before it's been beaten up bad.
