  • Meal Plan!

    Hey,

Do any of you want to help me divise a nutritious (sp?), protein based, meal plan, that is low in fat. Something that is healthy for a boxer in training/cyclist/tennis player. I need recipes for everyday of the week. Without fish, I am allergic to fish and all seafood. The things can be complex or easy to make, preferrably easy.

I would understand if you don't want to help me out because I am asking a lot but I thought I'd try anyway.
    Thanks!

Diet depends on SOOO much. 2500 calories might make someone gain and make somone else lose and one maintain. Post your height, weight, and other stats.

        In simplest form though:

Eat food that's been grown, nothing processed. Even number of meals a day doesn't matter that much or exact amount of calories. Just eating healthy is good enough.

I'm 17 5'11" 145 lbs. I bench 160, curl 35-40 (one arm). I do mostly bodyweight with some weight training for strength but I keep that to a minimum. I do some roadwork daily about 1 mile.

For breakfast I usually eat a bowl of Vector Cereal. It contains a lot of protein. As a snack I have a nectarine or some other sweet fruit.

I have a whey shake after my workouts. I get my omega's from eggs mostly. And I also take MegaMen Multivitamin and Vitamen C also.

I then eat whatever my parents make for dinners (stir fry, chicken, beef, pork, usually with potatoes or rice.) Something we have strawberry, blueberry, or meat peirogies. We occasionally have chicken fajitas or homemade pizza. Soup we have often in the winter mostly borshe (sp?) or chicken soup.

I drink only water and green tea with no sugar and V8 vegatable ****tail. (excluding my protein shake). I usually have a small snack 1-2 hours before bed, a fruit or a vegatable most the time, sometimes i have a couple crispy minis or a small halloween size package of nerds.

I don't know what else I could tell you. Thanks for your help.

looks pretty good to me, you can add nuts, yogurt, lowfat milk, rice, lean meats(turky, ham), and oatmeal to add variety to your diet, snacks I love to eat beef jerky. You may also want to drink muscle milk before bed time. I am no nutrition expert but at your age and metabolism you need plenty of rest(at least 8 hours of sleep). Hope this helps you out
