  • Saving Dumb Dumb From CTE

I have a friend who is ambitious about a very dangerous sport, and he’s not listening to any advice I give him. He has never taken a boxing class or been under a coach, but he hard spars with people at the gym with no experience. I’m trying to save him from severe brain injuries. He even asked me to be his ‘boxing coach,’ and I told him I’m not a boxer nor a coach. You need to find those at a dedicated boxing gym, but he won’t listen. How can I save this idiot from getting wrecked?

It's tough when someone you care about doesn't listen to your advice, especially when it comes to their safety. While you can offer guidance and express your concerns, ultimately, your friend has to make their own decisions. Keep reinforcing the importance of proper training and seeking professional help, but also be prepared to respect their choices, even if you disagree with them. It's a delicate balance between caring for your friend and respecting their autonomy.

You need to be firm with him. Tell him that sparring without proper training is extremely dangerous, and as much as you care about him, you can’t support him putting his health at risk. Suggest he get proper coaching from an experienced boxing coach in a gym, as that’s the only way to learn safely and effectively. If he insists, you might need to step back and let him learn the hard way, but you've done your part by warning him.

No, for them censoring normal words seems to be more important than preventing spam bots and AI characters from definitively ruining this once beautiful place.

              Signs of the times. Sigh.
