in those days the training was poor all they did was hit a heavy bag,and have a medicine ball thrown into their stomachs, mild compared to todays training routines, frazier was not fast he just moved his head and and down in a bob and weave motion because he new that if he got hit in the jaw he would be out like a light

I never saw his full training routine but I remember reading something about how he said to stay off weight lifting and if you needed to weight lift then just do bench presses.

I don't know his boxing routine but I got his calisthenics routine from another forum.

      25 push-ups
      10 dips (or pull-ups)
      25 push-ups
      10 dips
      25 push-ups
      10 dips

In his prime Mike Tyson never touched a weight. All he does was calisthenics, running and boxing. He had a tremendous physique and shocked people when he told them he did not do weight lifting.

Mike Tyson had great stamina as well as we saw in the instances when he would go a full 10 or 12 rounds and still have the ability to finish opponents strongly and keep the pressure just as well as Frazier.

In the Buster fight his conditioning was trashed and he was gassed and breathing out of his mouth as early as the 7th round.

It isn't uncommon for boxers to not lift weights.

Joe probably had a similar routine to Mike Tyson and many of the other old school fighters.

I wouldn't doubt that Mike learned training routines from the past champs. With him being a student and Cus as his trainer.
