  • calisthenics after boxing or seperate times?

    is it best to do calisthenics after your boxing workout or at seperate times?..
    i'm concerned i maybe over training if i do weights (ex weighted dips,bench) then the following day sets of push ups as part of boxing training..

    eat right.. i take protein and amino acids to ensure fast recovery and my muscles stay fed..

    my workout looks like this..

    15 minute stretch
    Half mile run 4minute
    Jump rope 8 x 2 minutes = 16 minutes
    heavy bag 10 x 3 minutes = 30 minutes
    rest 15minutes
    abs (i do a bunch of different excercises) 20 minutes
    2 mile pyramid workout
    .75 miles (10 minute mile pace)
    .25 walk (20 minute/mile pace)
    .50 mile (7:30 minute/mile pace)
    .25 mile ( 20 minute/mile pace)
    .15 mile (7 minute/mile pace)
    .10 mile (6 minute/ mile pace)
    then i go and left weights.. generally 4-8 different lifts depending on if im doing chest/tris compared to just legs... i do almost all excercises 3-4 sets of 10/12

    15 minute stretch.

    weekends i just rub 2.5 miles and THATS when i do my pushups/pullups/dips.. google bench dips weighted.. they rock

      i do pushups, pullups, dips, and handstand pushups after every boxing workout. on wednesdays and saturdays i usually lift weights after my boxing workout is done. boxing comes first!
