I think they look great, but I couldn't help but notice the irony of a pair of boxing shoes named after a basketball star.

I've said this many a time in different threads....

Plus Jordan shoes APPREAR to be very heavy, with the big sole and all...

They seem more of a fashion statement then an actual boxing shoe...

+ 100$ is alot for a pair of boxing shoes, when you can get everlast shoes for 69.99...

Isn't the company owned by RJJ, so if he didn't wear them it would make it look like he doesn't support his company...So yes they can be terrible and Jones would still wear them...

guys you can get any boxer to rock any pair of shoes if you pay him the right amout of money! therefore i heard these shoes were heavy and had support but the downside is there too bulky and heavy and as a boxer you need to be able to have quick moving feet and i dont know about these shoes being any good speed and footwork wise

the rjj are very stiff and supportive. Compared to a normal shoe they are light. Compared to a normal boxing shoe they are heavy. the soles do not bend at all, very very stiff. With that said, I like them. They are comfortable and good in the ring.

They are awkward to jump rope with because they are litteraly so stiff they feel like skii boots. They are alot better in the ring than you would think they are because they are so stiff. Its really really easy to stay on your toes with the rjj jordans, and they pivot better than my adidas 2000s. So to sum it up, they arnt the best shoes for working out in, but they are really really nice to fight or spar in.
