Hearn initially said no problem and is now saying that 10 million is too much. If Lopez is talking to Hearn about getting paid 10 million that cannot sit well with Bob. Berlanga vs. Jacobs would be a good match. That would be a good test for Berlanga to see if he really does back up all that hype.

Bob Arum says he contacted Oscar De La Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions to offer a title shot for their young contender Ryan Garcia to challenge undisputed lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez, but they’ve yet to call him back to agree to it.

Arum states that he made a proposal for a fight with Teofimo (16-0, 12 KOs) before ‘King’ Ryan’s recent fight against Luke Campbell on January 2nd, but Golden Boy never called him back.

Garcia (21-0, 18 KOs0 has been talking day and night about wanting to take on Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis next. If the fight is made, ‘Kingry’ Garcia will be challenging Tank Davis for his WBA secondary 135-lb title.

The main title is held by Teofimo Lopez, and the less prestigious one, the WBA World lightweight belt, is held by Tank. It’s believed that Ryan’s chief reason for wanting to fight Tank Davis is his popularity, and the money he can make fighting him...

“To tell the truth, before the [Luke Campbell] fight, I called the Golden Boy office and talked to [Golden Boy president] Eric Gomez, a lovely guy, and I think I even talked to Oscar [De La Hoya].

Let me simplify my question who should Haney fight in your opinion to get the credibility, in your opinion, to fight a champion such as Teofimo. Because before Teofimp fought Corey, his resume was no better than Haney's resume. And tbh the ONLY reason he got in with Lomenchenko was because they both fight under TopRank. U haters on here ALWAYS talk about resumes and who this guy fought that guy fought. Who should they fight??? I'm sure Haney, with his resume is at least Top5 in every alphabet organization. Not sure what that has to do with this conversation. Lopez was seen talking to Hearn directly at the Canelo v Smith fight. Lopez said he would fight Haney for 10 million. My question is this. How does BOB feel about Lopez talking directly to another promoter about the money he should be paid for a fight?

What I was showing you was that Bob is targeting Ryan Garcia, while Teofimo is targeting Haney. I'm pretty sure Bob was not happy with Teofimo saying anything to Hearn about a fight with Haney, and definitely not happy with him talking about money either!

Good point. I doubt Lopez will stick with Bob much longer as he will continue to price himself out and play the bigger diva. Who knows where Lopez lands though because if he thinks he deserves 10 million in a pandemic he is mad.

Bob is not on good terms with Crawford and looks to be on similar terms soon with Lopez.

Lopez talked himself into the fight with Lomochenko but he beat commey a champion at 135 at the time in order to even get that chance to fight Lomochenko. You lost man, I don’t understand how you can’t see that. Haney beat Gamboa and that gets him a crack to win all the belts at 135??? Hahaha
