Yes Floyd Fraud weather and al the coward haymon are rigging Davis to be a franchise fraud and Cruz will dive for the bonus $$$ because he has no leverage or other options to make a good payday.

But the Davis choreography will fail just like the Wilder fraud did. Davis can't become a star unless he fights and beats the best which Haymon and Fraud weather will never take those risks. Unles they can pay off every opponent to dive. It's not even worked for Spence.

I always looked at PPV fighters as being so big in the ring I am talking special skills an air about them .that people will sacrifice big money to watch them fight. G. Davis has a record, its on box rec and you can see him fight on film and you can follow the other record with the law. Nothing outragous about a fighter having a criminal record but does it point to discipline in some way ? I give him a pass on all but the woman beating charges. But for my bucks the fighter has to prove himself in the ring so much that people regular boxing fans are willing to put up the money to watch. It is not personal just breaking it down is all. Talking millionaire money here, the fight fans decide if the fighter is worth that kind of money and reputation. I hope he develops into a great fighter uses his power his contacts his street smarts and funnels that alll into a great long fight career. But few do. PPV apearances dont make you the best just means you got in in this era of boxing. In this time frame of no fans or limited numbers. Yea I repeated myself but so have a lot of writers and podmasters. I hope the people get there moneys worth but I will catch it in 24 as I said earlier. Matter of principle.

I think it was after the spadafora sparring, that Floyd made it a point to always stay in shape

It was a different time and era when Mayweather became a PPV star. Streaming services were not as big as they are today, there werent as many broadcasters for boxing. I really doubt any boxer will reach over a million PPV buys today. The heavily promoted heavy weight match up between Wilder and Fury couldnt even crack a million in the states. Theres simply too much competition and cheaper ways to watch boxing.

Good point. Floyd already had recognized names at this point in his career and fought them with regularity. Floyd also has a personality that helped catapult his stardom. Tank in my opinion will never be that type of star nor will he be competitive at the higher weight classes due to his height. Floyd is 5'8 and pretty much faced 80% fighters with no significant ht and reach advantage. The ones that did never utilized their advantages or weren't disciplined to do it enough.

^ All day. Floyd walked around very close to his weigh in weight unlike the vast majority of fighters today in any combat sport. Personally I think this was one of his biggest strengths and is highly overlooked.

Davis has shown no commitment and is instead intent on crossing the finish line without preparing for the race.

He hasn't got the skills or speed of Pacquiao, not the desperation which forced him to become what he became. His top opponent so far has been 38 year old Gamboa, who suffered a torn Achilles tendon injury in the 2nd rd, and basically fought on one leg throughput.

Davis showed ample ineptness extreme flabbiness, and lethargic intentions, and certainly, even before he made any bumbling talk after the fight, shows me that so far, at this moment and likely NEVER, will he be a PPV attraction.

The talking-up by Mayweather, is pure promoter BUMPF doing his rubbishy build-up. He's very poor at it, as an illiterate would be. But he has good men working for him so should leave it to them. But we go back to tubby Tank his nickname well chosen. He obviously has a punch at least for 3rd raters. I saw only the Gamboa fight He may be better than he looks.

Which is like the tongue-in-cheek compliment to a musician "you are a better player than you sound"....
