  • Fighters Smarter Than The Average Person

What do you think. The average IQ is only 100

To be a high level fighter one must make many smart decisions

Many fighters speak better than the average American

I’d say every point is not so.

The average boxer has below average education, most boxers get ripped off on their own management .

The smartest boxers ? Klitschko brothers both are either political people in office or are affiliated with branches of technology affiliated company.

A.J has a very strong understanding of the world and how to relate with his own marketing growth and stY out of unwarranted legal issues or legal situations as a champion.

Mayweather is absolutely in my top 3 ,he just understands how to grow in the world even with some legal issues to ,you can’t knock the guys smarts as big as his ego is .

Thurman is an intelligent guy for sure.
Mikey Garcia seems fairly smart. Not sure how smart he is though. He seems fairly calm and collected though.

Danny Garcia doesn't seem too bright at all.

The Klitschko brothers seem to be pretty bright.

Tyson Fury has an intelligent mind. He's quick with his thoughts and doesn't just spew rhetoric and catch phrases like many fighters do. He thinks on his feet....He's nuts though, and he's full of bravado and trash talk.

Hopkins shows intelligence and insight at times but at other times he fumbles badly.

Roy Jones can also be thoughtful and insightful...Not all the time, but there's definitely a brightness behind all their bluster and street style.

Andre Ward is pretty bright too even though I find him a bit full of himself.

Pac and Mayweather seem to have low IQ's. I don't think either are very intelligent.

Porter seems fairly smart. I agree.

You must be talking about Mikey Garcia, right? You don't mean Danny!

Former 80's star, Bobby Czyz had an IQ of 140. And spoke eloquently.

Nate Cleverly finished his maths degree whilst incumbent European champion. Beibut Shumenov is a qualified lawyer and speaks 4 languages I think. Dmitry Pirog had a degree and went into business and politics, and is now a serving representative in the Russian Duma (Parliament).

Ain't JMM qualified in law or something too?

IQ is a piss poor way of measuring intelligence however, although it is a good way of measuring how good you are at IQ tests.

AJ is the smartest and most articulate current boxer. And might be the most articulate since Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard. Most of the things people give Hearn credit for, is actually AJ's. For him to be self-managing himself from like his 5/6 pro fight and be able to build what he has built, shows wit. Freddie Cunningham is just a figure-head and an employee on wages who was employed as barely a fresh graduate to act as the face of 258 management.

The klitschko bro were pretty smart throughout their careers and also highly educated, especially Wlad. They're the most educated boxers in the history of boxing.

Floyd Mayweather is very smart despite his shenanigans and alleged inability to read. Literacy =/= smart. They guy turned hate into being the highest earner in boxing history and has been able to build relationships across the globe with his notoriety whereby he can do a tour and still make decent money.

A lot of British boxers from London under the radar who're still on the come-up have university degrees and they're pretty smart.

Roy Jones is also very smart. The guy has been a commentator since the 90s when he was at the peak of his career.
