NEW YORK Andy Ruiz Jr. doesn't think his height will be a disadvantage against Anthony Joshua. The 6-feet-6, 245-pound Joshua stands four inches taller than Ruiz, who's a big underdog. While studying Joshua's previous fights, though, Ruiz noticed that shorter opponents have fared well against the unbeaten IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion.

Ruiz giving up huge height reach. Yes only hope is effective pressure. And once inside have to work body until hands come down. Easier said than done big price to pay on way in hope lots of head movement

POV pressed AJ in the early rounds and did quite well until AJ started connecting.

I don’t think Ruiz is as fast or skilled as POV, I can’t see this fight ending well for him

He’ll have to fight like Hatton to win this

when you feel the power you will know why my man, hope the proverbial "Mexican heart" that these Mexicans talk about will be on display, he'll need it to survive Aj's onslaught and drag it out otherwise he's getting slept tonight, plain reality

What about Whyte? Maybe Breazeale and Molina although haven't researched those in forever to be sure

I have had my eye on Ruiz for years. Probably not as surprising for me to see Ruiz in this position as for others. He beat parker fair and square a few years ago it was close but he beat him and out fought him never got rocked in that fight. Ive never seen Ruiz in trouble ever in a fight really good boxer. Weight could be better. Love to see him say 240 245 but he fights around 260. His hand speed may be the best in the division. Good defense, fighting the best opponent hes faced true. Why people acting like he getting KOed???? Do you know something I don't? or you think Joshua that great or you lick Hearns ass for a living??? I think Ruiz will put on a respecteable performance and rep. May not win but he gets hi profile fights from this if not more. Hell make AJ work. War Ruiz!!!!!

Andy may be walking into a bunch of right hands, left hooks and uppercuts.
