Who were the greatest boxers to ever come out of Boston? Also are there currently any decent prospects coming from the area?

Of course Rocky Marciano is from Brockton and Marvelous Marvin Hagler was basically a Brockton, Massachusetts Native does that count?

As for Currently, well Demetrius Andrade is from Providence, Rhode Island, is that close enough

Sam Langford was called the Boston Tar Baby but he’s originally from Nova Scotia. Hagler is a Brockton fighter but is originally from Jersey. Marciano of course.

Sandy Saddler is from Boston he’s got to be up there maybe as the best who’s born in Boston.

Tony DeMarco just finally got called for the IBHOF and is the oldest living member at about 84. He’s from Boston.

Paul Pender was another very good one, Jack Sharkey and going way back you’ve got John L. Sullivan.
