  • Comments Thread For: Errol Spence Stays Ready in The Gym as IBF Scenario Plays Out

Despite not having a fight scheduled, highly regarded welterweight Errol Spence is staying ready for when the call comes for his next assignment. Trainer Derrick James tells BoxingScene.com - "We're training six days a week, the only thing we're doing differently is we're not going that long on the mitts or the bag, we're not doing strength-and-conditioning. Other than that, we're sparring, we sparred twelve rounds last week. So he's sparring, we're working, it's like going to work every day."

Spence and his team are keeping quiet. They're taking instructions from Haymon. They knew what is happening.

Don't forget, Khan is also advised by Haymon. Eddie Hearn is working things out with Al. Brook vs Khan is happening.

Spence is not fighting Brook, mark my word. He's fighting another Bundu-type mando.

They should have set up a stay busy fight the moment Spence got an extension on the mandatory. After getting 6 million viewers no one has seen him since. NOT GOOD.
