  • Best boxing movies?

Which boxing movies are the best you have seen? I personally liked Creed, Cinderella Man, Undisputed and Ali. Great movies, any boxing fan should give them a watch.

EDIT: Oh, and if counting documentaries, watch Tyson. He is so honest when telling about his life, you don't even have to be a fan to appreciate that.

I was surprised with how great Creed was, I remember I thought the story sounded silly when I first heard about it.

Raging Bull is still the best.

        Cinderella Man is my favourite.

        The Fighter is good too...

        Mr Calzaghe is cool too.

Haven't seen one. The boxing scenes always looked rehearsed and faked. Well, nothing is real in movies, but you have to wonder why they can't make it look real in this day and age where anything is possible. I want noise, noise, noise, yelling, screaming from fans from start to finish. Not some Clint Eastwood giving instructions to his fighter as if he's in a studio. So effing quiet. I want commotion, camera wiggle, fans heckling, etc. Punches landing can also be made real by actually doing it in slowmo, then speed up the action in the editing room.
