a lot of hate for the traveling community or people who come from that background

when i was in high school, there was a lad who came from a travelers background, poor bloke faced a lot of abuse, kids would spit on him, take the piss out of the way he spoke, his name was John....but my classmates called him June

He left after a year....i got on with him, i can't stand bullies, poor git never stood a chance

So i understand what Fury is saying.

Travellers are the most persecuted minority in the country nowadays. Go on twitter and read some of the replies to Fury's tweets, they usually involve calling him a ****** ***** **** and asking him to tarmac their drive. It's disgusting.

I think it is hilarious, you can't be the way he is and not expect criticism. He has polarised opinion essentially the way Floyd did, people either love him or hate him.

I wouldn't go as far as to say I hate him but I certainly think he is a clown, not in the literal sense, more so an idiot. Everybody loves an idiot, it can't be good for his sense of well being though not being taken serious. He only has himself to blame though.

I wouldn't want him to tarmac my drive.

My dad was a part-time bounty hunter when he was working highway patrol. I ran with that and bragged about it because it sounded cool to be the son of a bounty hunter. It didn't make me cool and Tyson's claims of being an Irish gypsy (when he grew up in Manchester) don't add any cred w/ me. It just sounds like he's trying too hard to build mystique.
He may not lead the authentic life but his pops and trainer uncle did. His uncle was a full out gangster and his pops did time for gauging a guys out. Travellers/Gypsies generally lead lives on the margins of mainstream society.

I will say this the discrimination against a traveller isn't the same as what the Roma experience in Europe. Roma because of the swarthyness and Asian surnames can't blend into regular society as easily.

                Gypsies are an ethnic group.

Irish Travellers are traditionally known by another name and not the one in snatch.

I am not putting it in writing.

They came from India originally and settled in Eastern Europe.

All throughout Europe they are viewed with su****ion. My mother who is 3/16th Indian but looks maybe half Indian was thought of as Gypsie by relatives of mine when she first married my father and an older relative thought she was going to steal or scam from them and initially refused to let her in his home. That is the reputation of the Roma in Europe.

                    This..

He's not a true gypsy, only a Irish traveler. Lives similar to a gypsy, but that doesn't make him one by blood.

Go to Romania, Hungary, or any of the surrounding countries to see some real gypsies. They are darker colored usually and trust me are not what you want to have around. There are exceptions of course, but in general they are scummy people.

My grandfather is gypsy from Moldova and trust me.. He and is family are not pleasant to be around. I remember the stories he told, a family of like 12 will live in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment and move every couple months. He was dirty, flaky with responsibilities, and delusional. Believed in spells and whatnot.
