  • Good fighters with poor amateur records.

An example I can think of is Johnny Nelson who was 3-10 as an amateur and he went on to become cruiserweight world champion. As they say amateurs and pros are a whole different game. Do you know any other fighters who haven't had the best if starts into boxing?

I managed to find a few more guys:
          Marciano: 8-4
          Librado Andrade - 1-13
          Jeff Chandler 1-1

And surprising there are a few guys with no amateur experience:
          chavez sr-no amateur fights
          chavez jr- no amateur fights
          billy conn-no amateur fights
          tye feilds-no amateur fights
          Dwight muhammed Qawi-no amateur fights
          anthony mundine-no amateur fights

Carlos Molina was 6-1 as an amateur. Not bad, but not extensive either.

Pinklon Thomas only had 3 amateur fights.

            Canelo Alvarez
            Manny Pacquiao
            Bernard Hopkins
            Dwight Muhammad Qawi

A lot of them are total BS tbh

for example, roger mayweather told me had only 15 am fights

dont know where 60-4 came from

Wikipedia. Not saying it's as credible as the man himself. Just saying it wasn't from a totally unknown source.

Which others are bs since you say "a lot of them are bs"
