I disagree. I have no problem with Rigo being in the top 5, but #2? That would mean he is ahead of Marquez, which is nonsense imo. Marquez has just KO'd Pac, which is no smaller feat than decisioning Donaire, and he has a bunch of other good wins, too, whereas Rigo has very little beyond the Donaire win.

As for the P4P list Crold put together, I think it's a good one. If it's based on the combination of accomlishment and current ability, then these are the 10 fighters that should be on it. As for the order, I only have two minor complaints:

    1) Pac could be a little higher than #7. I would put him ahead of Martinez and Froch, maybe even Rigo.

    2) #8 is too high for Gonzalez. He only has three really good wins (Estrada and the two Japanese guys), and of those, only the Estrada win can be considered "great" imo. Garcia and Wlad should be ahead of him.

Vitali hasn't dominated anything. Stop giving him credit for what his brother has done. They aren't the same person.

My issue with Andre Ward at #2 in the P4P rankings is that he has not ventured outside of 168. He may be the best by a margin at 168 but he hasn't proven his skills outside of his [for want of a better phrase] comfort zone.

Mayweather, Pacquiao, Marquez, even Martinez, these guys could / physically should be fighting at lower weights than they are.

Thankyou Mr. Rold for this great read and the P4P lists

                and

for the invite for argument on the WHO's Who list.

First My Fear: Is that JR will take the opportunity to fight Sergio Martinez NOW that SM is NO longer prime but prime for the nice taking.

When placing a man as P4P, I would rather NOT read his papers and declare him but who he has faced and when he faced them. ITs kind of like sitting on a hill side in North Ga mountains with a coonhound and boy he is Awesome looking, and you have his 6th generation Pedigree with Champions in each generation behind him including his sire and dam but HE is a DUD !!!!!!

Some will call this hate, which is most humorous, LOL

ITs not hate, I just don't like being CONNED, grins

Yes JR is undefeated on record but by actual punches landed and watching the fighters in the ring JR lost two fights. Castillo 1 and ODH. I invite all to watch and count the punches landed by JR on ODH and be honest with yer melted heart and bowed head you will have to give ODH that fight.

But one thing I have learned in the last few years more than ever is that Money talks louder than the sport !!!!!! Money has always been important, DUH , this is and has always been prize fightin, but now a days money has taken more preeminence and fighters are graded more about how much money they generate than who they are actually fighting.

To give Mr JR the main spot, it grieves me to KNOW that he ducked prime elites that would have made him Great in my eyes but chose lesser fighters in stead. Why make a pedigree off of Little fighters, and one wee little fighter and then cheat on him to make the weight he wanted to insure a win ????? How can YOU justify that ? Why didn't he fight Mosley or at least PUSH to fight Mosely when Mosley won over ODH 1 ? instead of waiting until he couldn't pull the nice trigger no longer or take advantage of a Corrales basket case ???????

                Same ol Same ol S###

JMM was close to be put out by Manny -- before that beautiful right hand of his... On another hand, as I remember, Donaire was ranked in the top 5 P4P by the Ring...

How do you feel about Jr fighting Sergio Martinez NOW ? Now that Sergio is out of PRIME and on his way out ?

YOU and I know its coming next, or I will predict that fight NOW will happen Next for JR to get his next lineal making him with the most. IF that fight happens I predict JR to win it. Jr beats old guys, no problem.

Question Mr. Grustler : Why didn't JR answer the Challenges plural from Sergio Martinez when he was in his PRIME ?

Way to change the subject. And yeah, probably at least half the list is more accomplished than Vitali. Mayweather, Ward, Marquez, Pac, and Froch I'd say as well are definitely more accomplished.

The hell has Vitali done lately to be on this list? Again, you're giving him credit for stuff his brother has done. Stop it. It's not fair to Wlad.
