At 154 , I honestly cant see Floyd with the speed to shoulder roll the handspeed and combinations of Roy, and I cant see Floyd having anything close to any kind of power to bother Roy... Not too mention, even in the early part of Roys career, this isnt a plodder, or one dimensional fighter, youre talking about a taller, longer, bigger, faster fighter with more power, better reflexes, and more combination punching... I honestly dont see what Floyd cold do to a young, fresh, fast, strong, 154lb Roy.

Floyd has never fought a fighter like Roy. Roy has fought fighters that have similarities to Floyd, like Hopkins and Toney, and beat them both but to be fair it was at 160 and 168 respectively. At 154 Roy didn't fight any one of note, and his time there was very brief. Floyd has fought and beaten two top 1 and top 3 champions there, and won.

It's a close call. Roy obviously has the height, reach, hand speed, athleticism advantage over Floyd, while Floyd has the super high ring IQ and can adapt even after losing the first 4-5 rounds of a fight he can come back and win.

At this point its all About what styles have you beaten at these weights?

Odh at 154 is so far removed from the type of fighter he would be facing in a 154lb roy, and not too mention, the Hopkins fight was a couple removed from 154, and Toney was one fight removed from 160. In 24 months Roy went from fighting at 154, bhop at 160, and Toney at 168... Its safe to say his skillset was pretty damn similar.

Floyd's problem would be that he's never seen anything like Roy before. The question is how could he adapt, can he even adapt. How would he outbox someone who has longer reach and probably faster hands than him. How would he stand and fight with some one more powerful than him. It would have been Floyd's toughest challenge but I don't think he'd get completely embarrassed either. I think he goes out giving it his all, making it close, but losing.

Prime Roy doesn't lose any fantasy fight from 154-175. Whoever tells you otherwise, is lying to you. Nobody beats prime Roy.

Prime 2007 Floyd can't even beat Baby Roy[154 Roy]. So imagine, no one else stands a chance.

I cant give Floyd a single category advantage over Roy other than maybe IQ and experience.. And even with that, Roy was no idiot in the ring, he was setting traps and sustaining body attacks in his first 5 fights at a pro.

Speed, power, reflexes, size, length, reach, stamina would all go to Roy.

And even if you give Floyd defense, shoulder rolling fighters like Hatton, Baldomir, ODH, is not the same as rolling shots coming from a young fresh Roy.
