    Interesting that three of the same names are on there from 1999 and 2009.
    As of today:

    1. Manny Pacquiao
    2. Floyd Mayweather
    3. Shane Mosley
    4. Bernard Hopkins
    5. Juan Manuel Marquez
    6. Nonito Donaire
    7. Miguel Cotto
    8. Celestino Caballero
    9. Israel Vazquez
    10. Rafael Marquez

    And here’s THE RING’s pound-for-pound top 10 for October of 1999:
    1. Roy Jones
    2. Floyd Mayweather
    3. Felix Trinidad
    4. Oscar De La Hoya
    5. Shane Mosley
    6. Mark Johnson
    7. Ricardo Lopez
    8. Erik Morales

    The 99 ratings are much better, and have greater fighters in it.

        His only notable win in '99 was against a faded Genaro.... how did that get him #2 spot over DLH and Trinidad?

                    Floyd was coming off Fighter of the Year in 1998, he was ranked #7 p4p prior to beating the #5 p4p (Corrales) in dominating fashion. Then capped it off with a 2nd round KO of the division's best contender.
