  • DAZN shady subscription practices

Be aware for any future events that DAZN will now renew a monthly subscription from the day you cancel, not from the day you subscribed. I ordered a month of DAZN on November 21 to watch an event. When I went to cancel my one month subscription on dec 10th they tell me I now owe them a up to Jan 10th. What a bunch of BS. I told them to delete my account, I'll never use them again, and any further charges on my credit card will be reported as fraudulent.

I guess that's what I get for trying to do things the right way. I'm just another AH customer to them. So if you do need to use DAZN on a temporary basis, make sure to cancel IMMEDIATELY after subscribing or you will be charged extra.

I cancelled my subscription after they charged me twice for Canelo - GGG. I got a refund from Apple but DAZN effectively took an unauthorised payment from my account.

The moment they started putting YouTubers on PPV I was done with DAZN. It’s a joke. I view it in the same light as Triller.

I actually subbed for the first few months, I’m always willing to give new platforms a chance that claim to be supporting boxing. DAZN completely contradicted everything they supposedly stood for though. How can you go from “PPV is dead” to promoting YouTube boxing on PPV. It’s laughable.

Once they started to charge a separate PPV charge I was done with them. The appeal was that you will get those fights with the subscription. I am not going to pay to see Warrington and YouTubers fight for a monthly fee.

They do have a good matchup here and there but it doesn't justify the subscription.

That level of absurdity. To actually put KSI vs a rapper on PPV.

I cancelled my subscription few weeks back since there’s barely any fights on there I’m interested in.

I cancelled when I couldn't log in to my account to watch Joshua/Usyk 2 and customer service just completely ignored it, so i watched the fight illegally and cancelled DAZN.

It’s a complete joke isn’t it. The UK subscribers have it worst as well IMO. I mean look at the last few months alone:

              - Canelo-GGG 3 on PPV at 5 o’clock in the morning.
              - YouTubers regularly on PPV
              - Mayweather exhibitions on PPV

What exactly are you subscribing for?

Boxnation had a slither of the budget DAZN had and for a similar monthly fee they were giving us Top Rank, Golden Boy and PBC cards in the US, Sauerland and K2 cards in Germany, various other cards across Europe and the rest of the World, then on top of that, fights like Mayweather-Canelo, Mayweather-Maidana 1 & 2, Pacquiao-Bradley, Canelo-Cotto etc were all part of your monthly subscription.

DAZN do not deliver for subscribers whatsoever.

Anyone who still subscribes to DAZN deserves to get ripped off.

Never subbed. Almost dropped Showtimes for DAZN that year and Showtime didn't do much boxing but their other content was so good I just kept it. City on a Hill is ****ing awesome.

DAZN now charing a monthly fee to watch ****ty matchroom cards from the UK and then paying for PPV as well is comical. Stream that ****.

Boxnation sounded like hell of a bargain for you guys across the pound.

As a subscriber whos grandfathered in for the $100/yearly subscription,I still find quite a bit of value in it for myself. Joshua,Ryan,Vergil,Bam,Estrada,Bivol are all young fighters I enjoy watching fight so catching them a few times a year for $100 is a bargain considering all the ppvs being forced down our throats. Only other promoter providing better content and at a cheaper price is TR.

Obvioudly wasn't happy about them implementing ppv and being asked to pay $60 to watch Canelo vs GGGrandpa. So guess what,I didn't.
