    What do you care?:

Are you apart of Canelo's entourage or something?

I never understand why fans count fighters money like they're getting some.

Canelo would make far more in this fight than he ever did with DLH, Hearn, or Dazn. Also loved this part by bread:
”I know you guys say that Plant has no market value. But he’s the best white American active fighter in the world. He’s the best since a prime Kelly Pavlik 14 years ago. He’s a good looking kid and he shows up well on tv. He speaks well. Getting the 20 on an 80/20 split is about right for him. It also puts Canelo in position to fight Jermall Charlo and David Benavidez, two other PBC stars. That would fill his plate for the next year. Let’s see what happens.”

Exactly right. Plant is marketable in the USA because he is a white American lad from Tennessee who came up dirt poor, living in a trailer and fighting in the projects. Both white Americans like him and black Americans. He had a stout fan base and consistently performs on FOX over 2m viewers and was the highest draw on FS1. When Americans see the buildup with Canelo and plant they will see to white guys in one of the biggest fights in a hot minute. That is of course if canelo’s trainer turned negotiator doesn’t lose the fight for being a diva….
If what's been said by Plant about rematch clauses, same payment for Canelo against a substitute opponent if plant gets injured, etc., I suspect the influence of Hearn in negotiations.

Plant is stalling the fight just like we all knew he would. Crooked haymon at his best.

Nothing is best about Plant. Zero. Popular? Where? Nobody knows him, except for hard, hardcore fans. White America must be so desperate for anything decent, and that's what Plant is, decent. "I really can't wait for the Plant fight," said nobody, ever.

Glad fight didn't go through. Soft Hands is weak. Not into mismatches.

When fights that the fans want don't end up getting made you have to look at the money. To see which fighter is to blame due to being unreasonable.

Canelo’s already making $30mil every fight regardless!!! Lol. Plant will go back to $1mil purses.

The point is every fight Canelo does, the accumulation from his prize fighting outweighs $40mil.

that’s the best Canelo haters can instigate? Sources said Canelo made $32mil for BJS.

if Canelo fights another Champion next, let’s say Bivol, he’ll get the previous pay. Fighters are dreaming for these purses. That’s like 32:1 vs a PBC star’s purse.

so stop it with the Canelo’s highest purse. Lol. Nice way to detract. As if Canelo never seen that amount…. Highest purse for Plant doesn’t mean anything when Canelo seen drawing power in the magnitude of GGG sales. As a matter of fact I’m sure that is one of the reasons why Team GGg been on standby.
Anthony Dirrell called out Caleb Plant last night on the FS1 broadcast.

So without Canelo this is the type of oppnent and the level of purses that Plant is going back to.

Canelo will simply move on to Bivol for another $30 million payday.

Sure he got caught a couple of times but he did not go down and he danced away to come back moments later to give Jermell all the grief he could handle. I was baffled that Jermell could not do better, I could sense that Jermell could not understand how Castano could beat his jab, He was hesitant and afraid despite his corner telling him to get back into the fight, Instead he played wise and pretended to be slower than he really was, hoping to catch Castano with a good lucky one, and he did and as he closed in for the kill his mouth tight with fury and concentration, Castsno again proved he has a good chin and that he is quick thinking on the back foot. Great fight. I read somewhere that Castano had already beaten Charlo as an amateur. So he already knew to get in close and club from left to right. He should have been awarded the victory..
Never heard that. Castano did beat Errol Spence in the amateurs.

He never gives us his full scoring for fights.

I’m always quick to bash young Edward but from what I have read he hasn’t had any say in these negotiations?

This whole Plant thing as I’ve said is nauseating. It really is.
