I still got some respect for DLH for what he once was as a fighter, and the $ he brought in. But I enjoyed seein him checked outta boxing by lil Pac. Served him right.

I dont get why Dela Hoya gets so much **** probably cause people are jealous i dunno >< but lost all his big fights?

He beat Trinidad around the ring

He beat Mosley in the 2nd fight, Mosley is my n1 boxer and even i can admit he lost that one. Not to mention the likes of Vargas, Quartely etc

He gets a SD loss vs supposedly the top fighter of the last 10 years after he himself is well out of his prime.. dont get me started on the pac fight, yet he has lost all his big fights? gtfo

Those are still good numbers against average fighters. Oscar's PPV record is better than Floyds.

yeah its ****** to say cotto can beat whomever and they can now beat oscar. many people can now beat oscar. the oscar of 98-99 or so is untouchable by cotto. imo the vargas, quartey, trinidad, mosley x 2, and whitaker, hopkins, mayweather and pacquiao (we'll find out) would all beat cotto. that means cotto would have around 9 losses imo facing dlh's competition, which is actually very good.
i think dlh has preserved and grown his wealth better than any other athlete

You're living in the past mexican.

Oscar is retired and you don't have anybody to shake your pom poms for.

Perro got beat by Cintron of all people....and Ortiz just proved to be another hype-job.

That's why you're FORCED to ride Fanny Pac nuts.

Speak for yourself. Good riddance, is what I say. As a hardcore fan, De La Joto left a bitter taste in my mouth. Why, because he could've been more than a guy who made his $$$ off his looks, he had the talent and skills to be a legitimate ATG, but, his balls shriveled up against top comp.

Every big DLH fight, I always expected it to be thrilling, yet, I was treated to a snoozefest for the most part. The only fight were I felt he gave it all, even in losing, it didn't matter to me, 'cause I knew he gave it a good go and it was against Shane in their first fight.

Winning is great. But, showing that Warrior spirit is all I ask for in a fighter.
