Jose is talented, really good defense. He isn't nearly as good as Joan but he is learning alot. One thing I hate is, he doesn't throw enough and turns south paw when he goes back wards, he'll fix that though.

I'd like to see some of his fights.

For sure. What can one do though. Dominican Republic hasn't produced that big boxing star that is needed to influence the young kids and young adults to get in to boxing. Whereas, Mexico had Julio Caesar Chavez who was not the first ever Mexican boxer but was that huge star that influenced many more Mexican youths to box. You also have Oscar De La Hoya, the best ever in ratings and views and undoubtedly the richest boxer in the history of boxing. Mexico and African Americans own boxing imo. Puerto Ricans come in 4th right after the Brits/Russians.

PRicans think they are big in boxing but they are not(not as an offense), they are right behind Dominicans in baseball if not on par slightly. One of my top 3 favorite baseball players is Bernie Williams who is Puerto Rican. There are a whole lot of good PR Baseball players, 10 times more than what there has been in Boxing.

Give Mexico their credit and admit Boxing is the sport they rule. Can't be so greedy and want to be everywhere, not everyone is Bo Jackson.

joan guzman isnt even good, he looks good (fast/strong) against BUMS, him and edwin valero all have 95% of their fights against fighters with 9 or more losses lol get serious, check boxrec .com . when guzman fought a b level fighter like humberto soto, he struggled and that fight could have gone either way. victor ortiz and juan diaz and nate cambell all can beat guzman

Dude, are you serious? He struggled against Humberto Soto? And even more of an idiotic comment was that the fight could have gone either way. Man, you must be a Mexican! Anyone who is unbiased knows that Guzman took that fight easy! That it could have gone either way is just a bit over the top. He practically outboxed Soto in most of the rounds. Please, be realistic man!

That's a very biased stament from you considering who the p4p per capita country is, and you know this, but those of us who know you aren't surprised. Dominicans baseball heroes are falling like dominoes due to steroids, now that is a fact, just mention it since you offered to throw baseball in. DR needs influence for young kids in boxing? You don't have a clue what your'e talking about, DR just put out their best ever olympic team who did very well, amateur fighters over there fight nearly every week, you see kids there who are 13 with over 100 fights I **** you not. Boxing is a big sport in DR, they may not have major league centers for training kids, but they love their boxing over there.
