  • The true story of Golota vs Tyson

    https://www.fightsaga.com/news/item/...eally-happened

Golota really had brain and spinal injuries. Always thought so. He was smart to quit and not risk brain death.

Tyson probably did it with his elbows or head as he often did.

ruled a NC due to marijuana in MT.

Golota quit many other times, besides the Tyson fight. Like Michael Grant, like both Bowe fights.

      And?:

Golota was the entity that did it to Lou Duva... Every trainer has that guy... The one who could be!! Broner has nothing on the Polish Prince.

He looked damages in the Lewis fight. His reaction to getting hit was way off watch his eyes when he goes down, its not the reaction of someone being Kayoed. The Kayo woke him up...

--- Golota half crazed before taking up boxing.

Dunno about dubious spinal injuries, but he def had a cracked orbital and wisely quit.

Didn't quit Bowe, instead taking it to the street. The whole idea of one of the alltime dirtiest fighter and his manager Rock Neumann, getting savaged by a eastern Euro street kid is to be celebrated.

Golota lost the fight but won the war. If Golata had been Olympic Gold Medalist Ward, he'd be feted by the media for low lows more than Golota delivered and give a puerile tv show and cushy celebrity announcing spot...only in America!

Get that ****e out of here. It has nothing to do with where the fight was held or who his name was. There wasn't a ringside observer, commentator or anyone else who didn't think Golata deserved to get tossed.

These weren't marginal low blows. A boxer generally gets some leeway for marginal low blows. these were at the bottom of Bowe's trunks. Vicious combinations to the nutbag are generally not a legitimate scoring move in boxing. Golata also lost points for intentional head butting and was warned for rabbit punches. Golata was mentally unstable at times and he was during that fight.

This isn't anything more than a fighter getting tossed who deserved it. Hell, he was even told by his corner "no more body shots" and STILL couldn't help himself.

You want to make a claim that's not an instant DQ in most fights, especially for a guy who had been repeatedly warned? He treated Bowe's nuts like a speedbag there.

--- What, you making claims I never stated is it?

                Last refuge of a scoundrel!

I stated he took it to the street against the dirtiest fighter of that era.

Lost the battle but won the war. All knew Golata was Bowe's daddy and you can't spin it any other way.

My apologies fine sir. But perhaps you can explain this statement because it appears to say that American fighters would receive favoritism in such a situation.
