"Cinderella Man" is a great book.

"Bare Fists" by Bob Mee is a fascinating look at the history of bare knuckle prize fighting from James Figg to John L. Sullivan

I'd also recommend "Smokin'", Joe Frazier's autobiography

and "By George" was a great read....that's George Foreman's autobiography.

Needless to say, "Muhammad Ali" by Thomas Hauser is fantastic

"The Greatest", by Ali himself is a good read.

and "Ghosts of Manila", while a little jaded and biased, does do a good job of taking an in depth look at the culmination of the Ali-Frazier rivalry.

      ...hope that helped.

I always recommend Jack Dempseys books in pdf. I forget the names but one of them at least can be found if you google him.

Norman Mailer's piece on foreman, for Playboy.

The best book on boxing I ever read is In this corner by Peter Heller. Highly recommended.

Raging Bull (the book, not the movie) was probably better than any boxing bio I've read.

Jack Johnson wrote a fascinating autobiography if you can find it. Lots of insights on boxing techniques.

                    Cheers!

I will look some up when I get to my laptop.

Just done a quick phone search on a few. I like the sound of "in this corner" and "bare fists"
