  • Who had the best and weakest chin in boxing history?

I think that Terry Norris, Jeremy Williams, and Carl Williams are some canidates for the weakest. Norris is a great fighter that i enjoy to watch, but id say he had the weakest. Everything that Simon Brown was hitting him with in thier first fight was having tremendous effect on him. He was even hurt with a jab in the first round, which is a shame because Brown was moving up in weight to fight him.

Ed Strickland was one of the greats for sure. He lost to 55 year old Ron Lyle by KO.

                in my time

                best:
                -Hagler
                -Cobb
                -Ali

I'll have to think about the worst, but Norris and Julian Jackson come to mind

Norris's chin wasn't that bad he took flush shots from Leonard who is a good puncher, and Norris never even once looked in trouble. In Norris's prime he was only ever KO by big punchers like Simon Brown, Julian Jackson. If you actually watch his fights he did take some good punches of pretty good punchers without even flinching, Now im not trying to make out Norris's chin was solid but it isn't as weak as some people are making out.

Thats was when Leonard was shot and had nothing left. Simon Brown was actually moving up in weight to fight him so Norris was the natuarly bigger man. Troy Waters almost had Norris out as well. He was a pretty good puncher as well but he didn't do well against top opposition.
