The new WBO heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs has one man in mind for his next fight, IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.

Originally, Briggs was promised the November 11 date against Klitschko in Madison Square Garden, and then was unexpectedly passed over for undefeated Calvin Brock.

He then signed with promoter Don King, who matched him in a title fight against WBO champion Sergei Liakhovich in Phoenix, Arizona. The bout was made as a coming out party for Liakhovich, who was winning the bout on the cards - until he stopped in the final minute of the final round.

Briggs voiced his plans after picking up his first major world title, a unification war against Klitschko for playing mind games with him. Briggs wants the big money, and the big fights in the final stanza of his career. He made made $400,000 on Saturday, while Liakhovich made $746,000.

"I've got a vendetta against him (Klitschko)," Briggs said. "When it comes to feelings, I want him. If it's money, or something like that, then I've got to take somebody else. But feeling-wise, I want him for what they did to me."
