In the HBO televised main event, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez weighed in at 154.5-pounds - and James Kirkland also weighed in at 154.5-pounds. The weight limit was 155-pounds.


In the televised co-feature, Frankie Gomez was way over the limit as he came in at 147.5-pounds - way over the contract limit of 141-pounds (limit was later changed to 145 after Gomez was well over the weight limit this morning, but still blew the weight). Humberto Soto was 142.5.
