Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach is convinced that Manny Pacquiao's speed, and better legs, are the two biggest factors to lead him to victory on May 2nd when he faces Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Roach is claiming Mayweather's 38-year-old legs "are shot" and he won't be able to get away from Pacquiao's incoming combinations.

"I don't think he moves like he used to," Roach told Sky Sports News HQ at a media open day at his Wild Card Gym. "His legs aren't what they were - that's the first thing to go with a fighter. He has a good right hand but I don't think he'll knock Manny out with that right hand. There's nothing I'm really concerned about so much. I know he's a good fighter, but I just think I have the better fighter. The hand speed's going to be the big, big difference. Manny's much quicker than he is."

Former three division world champion "Sugar" Shane Mosley agrees that Mayweather's legs are no longer the same, but he feels they are still more than good enough to get away from Pacquiao's punches.

“Looking at him work in the gym and hit the bag, it doesn’t look like his legs are the same but they are good enough to evade Pacquiao,” Mosley told Ringside.

“On May 2 it will be all Floyd – but I’m still not sure because I know Pacquiao has punching power. He has a sneaky left hand that, if Floyd gets too confident which he could, he could get caught. It’s like he doesn’t throw it at all until you find yourself on the canvas.”
