On Friday, BoxingScene.com recorded a video interview with a fired up Floyd Mayweather Sr. The father of the WBC/WBA/WBO welterweight champion recently had a conversation with former unified super lightweight champion Amir Khan who claims that the elder Mayweather said that he is the only fighter out there that would beat his son.
These accusations left big Floyd seething and he wanted to clear the air and categorically deny that he never made those comments and that there is no one out there that can defeat his son.
Floyd Sr. was so upset in fact, that he said that if Khan was to ever make those accusations to his face, he would take care of the Brit himself.
Here is what Big Floyd had to say about their conversation.
"Man, f*** Amir Khan! His ass had the nerve to tell me - I know all of y'all that is around me right now know it's a damn lie - that I said that he is the only one that can whoop my son. I said, 'man you get the hell out of my damn face.' I said, 'look here, when you come here, you tell that to my face and I'm gonna crush your face. My son ain't gotta crush your face. I will crush your face.'"
Mayweather said that at that point Khan's father got on the phone to try to calm down the situation but he wasn't having any of it.
"Then his dad jumped on the phone and I said get your f*g ass off the line sissy. This is a true story. Floyd ain't got to fight him. I will fight him. I will beat the sh*t out of him myself and stop him. I will make sure he's stopped," Floyd Sr. told BoxingScene.com.
Mayweather Jr. is scheduled to return to the ring on September 12th in a fight that will complete his six fight deal with Showtime. Khan is rumored to be one of the front runners to land the fight.
