Boxing novice Logan Paul has been in the ring twice under the bright lights, with both times being against fellow YouTuber KSI.

The first fight ended in a majority draw and the second a split decision loss for Paul.

Paul believes the third time will be the charm to pick-up his first win in a ring when he faces off against Hall of Fame fighter Floyd Mayweather Jr. on June 6 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida on Showtime pay-per-view ($49.99).

“It's taken three years for me to get to a spot where I really do feel really comfortable in the ring. This is the full camp. We're taking sh-- rather serious. Don't forget I had a year of being told that I was going to fight Floyd Mayweather. This is all I've been doing for the past year. I really do think I can beat him,” Paul said on Showtime’s “Inside Mayweather vs. Paul” show.

“This is not a fair fight. I'm six, seven inches taller than Floyd. Thirty pounds heavier. Eighteen years younger.”

In a more serious portion of the program, Paul credited pugilism for turning his life around after suffering his lowest period when he caught severe public backlash for filming and posting a video showing an apparent suicide victim in Tokyo, Japan.

“Boxing did save my life, really. I was headed down a path that I did not want. Boxing gave me the opportunity to hit the reset button on my life, and literally, fight for who I wanted to be. Twenty-six years now into my life and I can say I've definitely become a person who I love,” said Paul.

“I'm a YouTuber for now. Ask me in two years, let's see what people address me as then. Saying I fully intend on beating the greatest boxer of our generation, it can't be computed. They hear that and say, 'this kid is a moron.' Hey, I agree with y'all. I'm a delusional optimist.”
